While at the Hi-Tec Conference in Kansas City this summer, I ran into Tim Tewalt of Chippewa Valley Technical College, who recognized me from the online WomenTech Manufacturing Bootcamp he participated in in October 2020 with a Team from his College. I was thrilled to hear that the Mechatronics program now has one-third female enrollment (up from 1 or 2 females only per semester). In the first WomenTech Educator's Video podcast, I interviewed Tim - the founding program coordinator- along with Nate Boden, an instructor in the program - to learn how they did it. I am happy to say I learned some new things myself in this delightful interview!
