STEM Programs are often tasked with doing their own recruiting. That’s a problem:


… Nobody taught them how to do it. The result? outstanding STEM and CTE programs with the latest technology and excellent instructors suffer from unfilled seats and are in danger of being unable to run their courses.

These even include classes in which local employers are begging for students and average starting salaries, with just a certificate, paying $20 to $30 per hour.


Schools come to me because they want to recruit more women. They also come because they need to recruit more students overall. That’s why we set 2 goals for the Recruitment Plan:


  1. Desired number of students based on maximum capacity and baseline data.

  2. Desired number of female students.


I have consistently helped schools increase enrollment of both female and male students. It’s a win-win.

Usually these schools have been trying hard to recruit more students - including females. But they’re not succeeding. Why?


It’s because they're doing a long list of time-intensive activities that don’t yield new students for them.. 95% of what they are doing are activities I call career awareness. That has some value. But it’s decidedly NOT recruitment. Awareness doesn’t yield many new students. Recruitment yields an abundance of new students.

I can teach you how to recruit more students in just one year’s time. In fact, most schools are able to see huge results in just one semester. Plus I help you improve your all-important retention strategies, for both men and women, so you don’t lose half your students during the program (as most schools do).
